Tamil Nadu Board 10th Class Grading System and Pass Percentages Statics for Previous Years – Refer www.tnresults.nic.in

The Board of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu State TNBSE has notified about the 10th class Board examination which is scheduled every year by the Board. A huge number of candidates undergo this examination, and as a result of the examination, they are admitted to higher degree courses under this Board or various other Boards. This year the examination was notified in the month of March/April 2017. The results are to be released in the month of May. The candidates who could not score better marks in Board examination will be given an additional choice with the supplementary examination.

The results of the examination are to be released in the month of May 2017. The results will be released grade wise and even in marks. The grading system has been implemented in the past years. The candidates can refer the grading system which is as follows.

Grading system of Tamil Nadu Board

The students who are scoring 90% to 100% will be awarded, A+ Grade
The students who are scoring 80% to 89% will be awarded, A Grade
The students who are scoring 70% to 79% will be awarded, B+Grade
The students who are scoring 60% to 69% will be awarded, B Grade
The students who are scoring 50% to 59% will be awarded, C+ Grade
The students who are scoring 40% to 49% will be awarded, C Grade
The students who are scoring 30% to 39% will be awarded, D+ Grade
The students who are scoring 20% to 29% will be awarded, D Grade
The students who are scoring below 20% will be awarded, E Grade

The candidates scoring full A plus grades will be considered as outstanding in the examination. The E grade is considered to be the poor grade among all the grades. The candidates getting E grades will be considered as failed candidates for the examination. The failed candidates will be given an additional chance to perform well and improve the test. The supplementary test will be scheduled as soon as main exam results are announced.

Pass Percentages Statics for Previous Years 10th Board examination under Tamil Nadu Board

The candidate seems to show improvement in the percentage of marks every year. This year the mark percentage is expected to reach more than the previous years. The percentage is expected to reach 94 this coming year. The girl candidates are expected to score better than the boy students in the test.
